Terms and conditions

Introduction

Registering for a web membership allows you to download CAD data. We recommend that you register as a web member.
Membership registration is free of charge. Please read the following terms and conditions of membership, and if you have clicked "Agree", please comply with these terms and conditions of membership.
For more information, please read the Terms and Conditions.

The personal information you have entered will be used for such purposes as "announcement for new catalogs" and "new product information news".

Terms and Conditions

Article 1 (Registered members)
Registered members are welcome to use our CAD data download service.
Article 2 (Changes to registered member services)
UNION may change or temporarily suspend its member services without providing advance notice to registered members. Registered members, hereby, agree to these terms.
Article 3 (Consenting to this agreement)
Upon submitting their application for registration, registered members provide their consent and approval of the terms of this agreement.
Article 4 (Responsibilities of registered members)
Members take personal responsibility in using the CAD data download service. UNION bears no responsibility for matters related to the following:
  1. 1. Troubles or damage resulting from a member’s usage of downloaded CAD data.
  2. 2. Any other troubles or damage resulting from the usage or operation of the UNION homepage
Article 5 (Membership cancellation)
UNION may cancel a registered member’s membership without notice in the event that one of the following circumstances is deemed to have arisen.
  1. 1. When a member has violated the terms of this agreement.
  2. 2. When the information entered at the time of registration is found to be false.
  3. 3. When a member uses the CAD data download service for the purpose of committing a crime or for other behavior in violation of established laws and ordinances.
  4. 4. When a member’s actions are deemed inappropriate by UNION
Article 6 (Prohibited items)
The following actions and usages are prohibited among registered members.
  1. 1. Registration of information that is false or deceptive in nature.
  2. 2. Any action or behavior that violates the copyrights, personality rights, property rights, privacy, intellectual property rights, or other such rights of a third party or other registered member.
  3. 3. Any actions intended to defame, libel, or slander a third party or other registered member.
  4. 4. Any behavior that violates the public order and standards of decency.
  5. 5. Other actions in violation of established laws and ordinances, or carrying the risk of such a violation, or any behavior deemed inappropriate by UNION.
  6. 6. Reproduction, sale, or publication of CAD data, or other usage of said data beyond the scope indicated for its use.
  7. 7. Provision of information through the usage of CAD data in order to generate profit or conduct sales-related activities.
Article 7 (Exemption of liability)
UNION provides no guarantee concerning the completeness, accuracy, applicability, usefulness, etc. of information contained in the CAD data or provided by registered members upon registration. UNION bears no responsibility for any troubles or damages incurred through the usage and registration of this service by registered members. (This includes, but is not limited to, psychological distress, interruption of business operations, or any other financial troubles deemed disadvantageous.)
Article 8 (Secondary use of information)
Excluding information that can be used to identify a specific individual, UNION reserves the right to secondary use of information registered by members. In the event of secondary usage, UNION shall maintain the copyrights to the information concerned.
Article 9 (Suspension of services)
In addition to the terms found in Article 7 of this agreement, UNION may temporarily suspend its services in the following cases without providing advance notice to registered members, in order to maintain satisfactory operations.
  1. 1. When administering urgent or periodic maintenance of operating systems.
  2. 2. When CAD data cannot be provided due to a fire, power outage, etc.
  3. 3. When CAD data cannot be provided due to a natural disaster or other unforeseen circumstance.
  4. 4. When CAD data cannot be provided due to a war, upheaval, public disturbance, riot, labor dispute, etc.
  5. 5. In other cases where temporary suspension is deemed necessary in terms of operational or technical concerns.

In the event that provision of the CAD data service is delayed or suspended due to one of the above reasons, or for any other reason, UNION bears no responsibility for any damage or trouble incurred by a registered member or third party as a result of the delay or suspension.
Article 10 (Changes to this agreement)
UNION reserves the right to change this agreement at any time. At the time that these changes have been published on the website for a period of one month, all registered members will be considered to have given their understanding and consent to said changes.
